Back to the grind

Yesterday, after a fun weekend with friends, I got home. I had an extremely fun weekend with my best friends, but am rather sleep-deprived (from staying up watching Sherlock Homes episodes, and chatting) and rather sick of sugar (from eating skittles and M&Ms for hours).

Last night, after getting home, eating, and taking an unintentional nap, we were off to Bible Study.

I’m tired. I finished Plato’s Republic this morning for my class tonight and need to go take a Geometry test. Ah, home-school.

And on top of all, I already miss my Best Friend tons.

Today, especially I need to be reminded of God’s grace for me. Matthew 6:33-34 gives me great comfort and reminds me to do my best, but to trust God in everything.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
